Caroline Trevor, Alto
I began learning about singing in my Dad's church choir in Yorkshire. By the time I'd gone through Chetham's school of Music and the Guildhall in London I still wanted to sing more than anything.
My first Tallis Scholars concert was in March 1982. There have been a few gaps, mostly when I took time off to have my three children, but so far I've sung with the group over 1700 times.
I've worked with lots of other groups too, and been a soloist here and there (several times in Beirut, which was exciting). I also enjoy being a deputy at St Paul's cathedral.
I still love what I do, and hope I'll be there for quite a few more concerts.
